Kids Birthday Card

Hello there! I was recently asked by my 8 year old niece to make a card for one of her BFF. Of course, being the doting aunt I couldn't help but obliged her. 😉  I was going to a Hello Kitty die cut card at first but when I found out that Hello Kitty is the theme of the party, I opted to do something unique instead.  So I pulled out The Greeting Farm (TGF) Maisea mermaid clear stamp as well Lawn Fawn's  Mermaid For You Stamp set to help build the underwater scene.  Lastly, I also used some elements (such as the Sandcastle, bubblers, hearts, etc.) from TGF's Little Mermaid stamp set.

I sprayed the card base with Prima Flowers Soft Teal Color Bloom Spray Mist to set the background color.  Did I mention how much I love this product? It is a high velocity trigger spray bottle that allows for all over color and splatter for dimension as well as texture.  The other great thing is that it's refillable after you use up the 2 oz. that it comes in, therefore, you're really getting 4 oz! How great it that?
After setting the background, I stamped several rock formations since the image itself was too small in comparison to Maisea the mermaid. I also stamped Maisea and fuzzy cut her from a separate card stock, I used Memento Black Tuxedo ink for all the images then used Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

Lastly, I stamped the outer envelope with a bow, "to:" & lined hearts using Simon Says Stamp Envelope Sentiments Clear Stamps to spruce it up a bit.

Hope you enjoy this card! Thanks for stopping by! Have An Awesome Day! 😊

Thank You Card- Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge Entry

Here's a card that I made for the challenge this month for Ellen Hutson's September Mix It Up with Concord and 9th Challenge.  I love their Thanks Card dies that interlocks to close the card.

I followed the instructions that Jennifer McGuire ( https://youtu.be/Z4v9j_r4MKE) had posted on YouTube for the dimensions and measurements of the paper.  I then used Ellen Hutson's Mondo
Hydrangea to stamp on both panels of the card.  Then the images were colored using Spectrum Noir markers as well as the Spectrum Noir sparkle pens but unfortunately, the picture doesn't do it justice.  For the finishing touches, I punched out some mini butterflies using patterned paper, embellish with sequins using both using Rangers Multi Medium Matte adhesive.  Lastly, I cut another layer of the word thanks in pink card stock to reinforce the interlocking mechanism.
I hope you enjoyed this card and can't wait to see what you came up with!

Thank you for stopping by brand my new blog, glad to have you here! Have an awesome day! 😊
